Knowledge Transfer &
Open Sourcing in the area of sustainability

As a non-profit, we have been implementing research and special-location-projects since 2018, enabling sustainability knowledge to move more quickly from research into practice and from the hands of individuals into the hands of many. We work with small teams from Berlin, Mannheim and Hamburg and prefer to cooperate across Europe.

Why an association for the transfer of green technologies into practice?

Our association is mainly supported by members who are entrepreneurs, engineers, designers, architects and many more in their main professions. We are involved in projects of the Prototypes for Europe eV for two main reasons:

In our traditional fields of activity, we keep encountering ideas and technologies that we do not use privately, but want to share with everyone as open source solutions. Imitation does not have to be a business risk, but can help to bring sensible solutions into widespread use more quickly. This is particularly important when the common good is at stake.

To this end, we combine voluntary commitment with public, earmarked funds.
